Trigonometric Functions
The six trigonometric ratios of angles of any magnitude; domain and range; graphs and inverse trigonometric identities.
Find one trigonometric ratio from another in a right-angled triangle, derive the exact sine, cosine and tangent of 30°, 45° and 60° from a half-square and a half-equilateral triangle, use complementary angles, and evaluate expressions exactly by rationalising surd denominators.
Define sine, cosine and tangent for any angle from 0° to 360° using the coordinates of a point on its terminal arm, derive the quadrant sign table, find the other ratios given one ratio and the quadrant, evaluate the five axis angles, and find a quadrant or an angle from two sign clues.
