Identify overlapping (non-mutually-exclusive) events where A ∩ B ≠ ∅, state and apply the General Addition Rule P(A ∪ B) = P(A) + P(B) − P(A ∩ B), and use it in both directions to find P(A ∪ B) or P(A ∩ B).
